Whatever you are going through right now is either going to make you a better person or break you down into someone you’re not going to like later on. So, what are you doing to choose the right perspective and find courage to make yourself proud one day?
I don’t need to know your personal business, but I would like to encourage you with one thing about life that I’ve learned as a professional who’s been working in health care for over 20 years. I’ve noticed that regardless of the circumstances, human beings are more resilient than they realize when facing hardships and times of uncertainty.
It’s an powerful awareness to keep in mind that you will survive, especially when you know how much you’ve already survived.
Once a survivor, always a survivor!
“Just believe in yourself a little more”
I honestly don’t believe many people would deliberately throw away their personal life raft when faced with a detrimental situation such as imminent drowning. The same concept comes to mind with traumas and extremely stressful situations. Although, I am not a psychology major, as a nurse I have personally witnessed and supported individuals from all backgrounds and age groups. I’ve also seen what the human spirit can endure when facing unexpected health complications. It’s like a powerful GPS embedded within each one of them that kicks into full throttle when the going gets tough. I appreciate that not everyone has the same coping mechanisms for many reasons, that’s why I will always encourage seeking support from trained professionals if there is no comfort around you.
I know in my own life I have faced things that are not easy to talk about and yet I can now see how it helped me to find something within myself I never knew I had – courage to overcome and heal. You have it too. Just believe in yourself a little more.
You can truly find your inspiration in life around you and your defining moments may not look as beautiful as you like right now, but your greatest strengths are sure to be discovered if you don’t give up on yourself.
Thank you for reading my message.
I wish you Joy, Love and Peace always.
